An oil painting depicting a nostalgic scene from Paris. It depicts a patiserie, a cake shop, that can be found anywhere in Paris. A bakery is called a boulangerie, but patisseries often also sell bread. They also sell drinks, and it seems you can enjoy a cafe at a table outside the shop while looking at the scenery outside. The left half is mainly green, and the right half is mainly red. It feels like you are looking at two separate paintings, which gives movement to the static scenery. It is as if you saw a scene during a walk. You can enjoy the good old French streets while looking at this painting.
He paints beautiful rural landscapes from southern Germany and the Tuscany region of Italy, as well as nostalgic street scenes from Paris.
