Collection: Manuel Luballo

Born in the suburbs of Paris in 1958. A popular French artist whose exhibitions are held not only in famous galleries in Paris and France, but also in American galleries. In 2008, he received the Gold Prize at the Arts, Sciences and Culture Awards, among other awards. His bouquets, which evoke both a sense of moment and movement, are semi-abstract, and his landscapes of Venice and Provence sway between reality and fantasy. His talent as a painter, which allows him to beautifully harmonize two opposing elements, is outstanding. In 2010, Manuel Luballo came to Japan to hold successful exhibitions at Kobe Daimaru, Nagoya Mitsukoshi, and other venues. He is still popular in France and America, and his works are exhibited at famous Japanese department stores.
