1933  Born in Piaritz, a town in southwestern France.

1950  He entered the Paris School of Decorative Arts.

1955  Joined the Paris advertising agency " PUBLICITAS " and was in charge of illustrations for printed materials.

1981  Since then, he has held solo exhibitions in various parts of France, including Paris, Bordeaux, Honfleur, and Nice, as well as in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and the United States.

1993  Winner of the "Worthy French Author" Grand Prize.

Since his days at art school, he has been influenced by artists such as Cezanne and Dufy, and pursues the beauty of continuity of form by simplifying form and color and repeating that form. He often paints horses as a theme, reducing graceful and delicate horses to sophisticated and simple forms, painting several horses in succession and enjoying the variations in their forms. The trunks of the trees are also repeated with soft curves, and the continuous graceful curves are impressive. The branches and leaves of the trees are painted in large, simple masses and simple colors. Although he paints concrete elements such as horses, cavaliers, and forests, he makes extensive use of simple and continuous shapes and seems like an abstract painting painted in flat, simplified colors, but he also fully conveys the charm of the horses and nature in each season.
