Nicole Clément
A French painter specializing in pastel art. She visited Japan several times in the 1990s and held exhibitions at department stores such as Daimaru. She serves as Vice President of the French Drawing and Watercolor Salon, one of France's renowned salons, alongside the Salon d'Automne, the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, the Salon Comparaisons, and the Salon des Indépendants, which are public exhibitions primarily for oil painters. She creates bright and soft paintings that capture delicate light with pastels. She is popular not only in France but also in Japan, the United States, and Germany.

Born in 1942
A contemporary Impressionist painter and a leading figure in pastel art. She has her studio in the Château de Chapelle-Bertrand, inherited from her family in the Parageon region, and depicts the nearby rural landscapes with soft, bright colors. One can't help but fall asleep enveloped in the gentle light of her spring landscapes. When she paints autumn rural scenes, we feel as if we are strolling with her down the country paths.
