Collection: Georges Braque

A painter born in France in 1882. He co-founded Cubism with Pablo Picasso, and greatly influenced 20th-century art. Known for his poetic works featuring still lifes and birds as motifs, he is one of the leading masters of modern French art. He passed away in Paris in 1963. His works are housed in world-renowned museums such as the Centre Pompidou, Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Guggenheim Museum…etc.
