Along with Picasso, he is the founder of Cubism. Born in 1882. From 1897 to 1899, he worked as a painter and studied at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Le Havre at night. From 1902, he attended art school in Paris. After World War I, he began collaborating with Picasso and produced many Cubist works. In 1917, he resumed painting, but he left his geometric works behind and produced colorful still lifes. His works are in the collections of famous museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
