Nicole Clement <Garden Silo> Pastel 3F

Born in 1943 near Paris. A pastel painter. Dividing his time between Château Chapel-Bertrand, inherited from his ancestors in the Perche region, and his studio in Paris, he paints rural landscapes of the Parisian suburbs and the Perche region. He uses changes in color to define shapes, rather than outlines, and fills his canvases with bright light. He is the Vice President of the Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture à l'Eau, held annually at the Grand Palais in Paris, and the President of the Salon de Colombes near Paris.

In 1984, he received the Pastel Gold Medal at the Salon de la Ville de Paris, among many other awards.
