Representative painters of the Ecole de Paris 1887-1985

Landscapes and people blend together in the colors, and time and space are fused together to create a pictorial world of fantastical colors and atmosphere. Work Description
Chagall created murals and stained glass for churches as well as painting prints. In 1959, he created 12 stained glass windows to decorate the Jewish synagogue in Jerusalem, and to commemorate this, he published a collection of his works, Jerusalem Windows, in 1962, which included 14 original lithograph prints. This collection includes paintings of the stories of the 12 tribes of ancient Judaism, the same as the 12 stained glass windows in the churches, as well as two other original lithograph prints. This work is a framed version of an original lithograph print from the collection, Jerusalem Windows. The artist's signature is included on the last page of the collection as proof that it is the artist's original lithograph print.
