Born in 1928 in Langres, France.

1947-1960: Entered the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Studied under Narbonne, who excelled in powerful composition, and Chaplin Midi, a master of color. Sent to Barcelona and Berlin as a representative of the school. Went on a scholarship to study in Amsterdam and Madrid.

From 1960 to 2016, he was a contract artist for high-end galleries in Paris's high-end art district. In chronological order, he worked for the Galerie Romanée (1960-1966), the Galerie Wolley Findlay (1967-1985), the Galerie Etienne Sasy (1985-1995), and the Galerie Alexandre Léozuz (1996-2016).

1965-2010: Lived in the former Chagall studio on Rue Leclerc in the Montparnasse district

From 1967 to 1985, he visited the United States every year to hold solo exhibitions at the Wolley Findlay Gallery.

In 1994, she signed an exclusive contract with the Japanese gallery Adeka and visited Japan every year from 1994 to 2009.
