About "Vingt ans de B.S.N."

Created in 1986, this ceramic work embodies the decorative art culture of southern France, influenced by Fernand Léger, and showcases the allure of color expression in 20th-century French art. The vividly painted floral motifs are full of vitality and dynamism, leaving a strong impression on the viewer.

The petals are imbued with the energy of powerful brushstrokes, transcending mere decoration to express the artist's physical rhythm and emotional movements. Contrasting colors such as red, black, and yellow resonate with each other, creating a rich tension and vibrancy throughout the work.

Furthermore, the lustrous texture unique to ceramic material adds depth and warmth to the colors, giving this "eternal flower" a symbolic presence. Produced in a workshop in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie in Southern France, this piece possesses a unique charm that fuses traditional craftsmanship with contemporary art.

Though a small piece, it combines the beauty of decorative art with the powerful expressiveness of a work of art.

"B.S.N." is an abbreviation for Boussois-Souchon-Neuvesel, a major French corporate group.

This company originally developed as a glass manufacturer and food container manufacturer, later expanding into the food business. It subsequently evolved into the global food company known today as Danone.

The title of the work, "Vingt ans de B.S.N.", means "20 years of BSN."
