One of the greatest, most prolific, and creative painters of the 20th century, he produced paintings, prints, ceramics, and sculptures. There are Picasso museums in Madrid, Paris, and Antibes, and the Ludwig Museum in Cologne also houses many of his works. Many museums competed to acquire his art. His style changed with the times, and influenced by African sculpture, he created Cubism.
