He was one of the greatest, most prolific, and most creative artists of the 20th century, producing paintings, prints, ceramics, and sculptures. The Picasso Museums in Madrid, Paris, and Antibes, as well as the Ludwig Museum in Cologne, house many of his works, and numerous other museums also vied to acquire his pieces. His style evolved throughout different periods, and he was influenced by African sculpture, leading him to create Cubism.
