He was one of the greatest, most prolific, and creative painters of the 20th century, producing paintings, prints, ceramics, and sculptures. The Picasso Museum in Madrid, Paris, and Antibes, and the Ludwig Museum in Cologne all house many Picasso works, and many other museums competed to acquire his art. His style changed with the times, and influenced by African sculpture, he created Cubism.
