Picasso was one of the greatest, most prolific, and creative painters of the 20th century, producing paintings, prints, ceramics, and sculptures. The Picasso Museums in Madrid, Paris, and Antibes, as well as the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, house many of his works, and many other museums vied to acquire them. His style changed with the times; influenced by African sculpture, he created Cubism.
