One of the greatest, most prolific, and creative painters of the 20th century, he produced paintings, prints, ceramics, and sculptures. The Picasso Museums in Madrid and Paris, Antibes, and the Museum Ludwig in Cologne house many of Picasso's works, and many other museums also vied to acquire his pieces. His style changed with the times, and he was influenced by African sculpture, leading to the creation of Cubism.
