One of the greatest, most prolific, and creative artists of the 20th century, Picasso produced paintings, prints, ceramics, and sculptures. The Picasso Museums in Madrid, Paris, and Antibes, as well as the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, house many of his works. Many other museums also competed to acquire Picasso's art. His style evolved throughout different periods, and he was influenced by African sculpture, leading to the creation of Cubism.
