A representative painter of the School of Paris from Barcelona. He participated in the Surrealist movement in Paris and was heavily influenced by Surrealism, but he created his own unique object forms, not long and continuous, and formed the world of Miro's unique abstract paintings, full of musical joy. He expanded his activities to paintings, prints, ceramics, sculptures, and outdoor mural sculptures, achieving worldwide success.

 Work description

Joan Miró paints a palm print, a universal and primitive symbol of human action and creation on matter, and a red circle, an absolute prototype connected to the sun, the primordial god of the human psyche according to Jung. Red is the color of the sun and fire, and the hand, along with fire, is at the origin of human creation since ancient times. The dark black shadow left by the red circle and hand is colored by shades of gray, free forms, straight and curved lines of various thicknesses, and splashes and touches of vivid colors.
