Produced by the Mourlot Studio, limited edition of 2000, based on Matisse's paper cut-outs for the prints of the Musée National d'Art Moderne in Paris.

He created bright and elegant paintings with simplified, two-dimensional colors, planes, and lines. He was an extremely French painter who aimed for his art to be a comforting interior rather than an expressive one. Born in northern France in 1869. In 1991, he studied at the Académie Julian art school in Paris. Initially, he painted with bold colors, earning him the title of a Fauvist (Wild Beast) painter alongside Vlaminck and Derain. Later, he developed a tendency toward geometric patterns and the abstraction of objects, simplifying lines and flat colors. His works include paintings, prints, paper cut-outs, stained glass, and church interiors. He died in Nice in 1954. His works are housed in famous museums worldwide, including the Musée National d'Art Moderne (Centre Pompidou) in Paris and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, among others.
