This piece blends two disparate worlds—the "cuteness of animals" and "fashion"—a forte of Elly Iguchi. It is a sculpture full of humor, yet it quietly questions what it means to be human.

Calico cats have long been cherished as symbols of good fortune and approachability. The sight of such an innocent cat naturally wearing high heels, symbols of femininity, can't help but bring a smile. However, this unusual combination is more than just cute. It playfully relativizes the idea that only humans enjoy dressing up and pursuing beauty, humorously posing the question, "To whom does beauty belong?"

The white high heels, a color symbolizing purity and new possibilities, create a sophisticated impression through their contrast with black heels. Meanwhile, the cat's soft fur and rounded body convey the warmth of life.
