The story behind the heel being shaped like an animal's foot is said to be that "a woman, enraged at society, impulsively threw one of her shoes, and when she came to her senses, the suppressed anger, her actions, and the gazes from those around her felt ugly, and looking at her other shoe, it seemed to her like an animal's foot." The aim is to indirectly make people aware of their fundamental nature, which is often unnoticed in daily life, by giving the high heels a duality: a pop exterior and an inner bestiality.
