Jacqueline Debutler develops her own abstract sculptural language based on color and form. In this work, she uses opaque tape as a material to structure the pictorial space while highlighting the texture of the colorful background. The combination of scarlet red, purple, and sky blue tones creates a strong, brightly shining chromatic energy throughout the picture, evoking a new perception of the painted surface.
