Representative painter of the School of Paris 1887-1985

With diverse and brilliant colors, he depicted the world of male and female love, biblical stories, and myths as fairy tales. Landscapes and figures melt into colors, and time and space merge in his paintings, creating a dreamlike world of color and atmosphere. Love for his wife and hometown, and a message advocating for love and peace can be felt in his works.
