This book is a special issue of the art magazine **"Derrière Le Miroir"** focusing on Francis Bacon.
It was published in 1966 to commemorate an exhibition of 17 oil paintings held at Galerie Maeght in Paris.
The content is a complete edition, featuring 5 single-page original color lithographs, plus 1 double-page (triptych) color lithograph. It also includes numerous color and monochrome plates of Bacon's works.
