He paints beautiful rural landscapes of southern Germany and the Tuscany region of Italy, as well as nostalgic streetscapes of Paris. He exquisitely harmonizes the elegance of French Impressionism with the powerful brushstrokes and colors of German Expressionism. He is also popular in Austria, North America, and the United States.

Born in Cologne, an ancient Roman city in Germany, in 1969. After graduating from the Rheinbach Design School and the Rhein-Sieg Academy of Art, he dedicated himself to painting while also teaching at his alma mater. In Japan, he has gained popularity through solo and group exhibitions at famous department stores such as Mitsukoshi and Daimaru.
