Born in 1938 in Landelles, France (Normandy region).

He paints landscapes of his native Normandy, the Atlantic coast of Brittany, Paris, and Venice. His use of soft colors doesn't create an intense impact, but rather gradually sinks into the heart, evoking a sense of wonder at everyday scenes bathed in gentle light.

He began painting in his childhood. His paintings are an expression of "eternal happiness." In his world, everything is enveloped in a gentle, subtle light. Like all Impressionist painters, he expresses natural light and shadow, and the emotions evoked by nature, through delicate touches, sure tonality, and authentic colors.
