1938 Born in Landelles, France (Normandy region).

He paints landscapes of his native Normandy, the Atlantic coast of Brittany, Paris, and Venice. His use of gentle colors may not create a strong initial impact, but his works gradually seep into one's heart, evoking a sense of wonder at everyday scenes bathed in soft light.

He began painting in his childhood. His paintings are an expression of "eternal happiness." In his world, everything is enveloped in a gentle, subtle light. His paintings belong to the tradition of French art. Like all Impressionist painters, he uses delicate touches, sure tones, and authentic colors to express the natural light and shadow, and the emotions that nature evokes. Entering a Margray painting is like taking a stroll down a forest path on a summer day.

The beauty of his forms, the fluid tones, and the accents of color are also the secrets of his clear paintings. Down to the very texture, it is as if one is in a dream world, concrete and full of color.

Exhibitions have been held in galleries throughout France, including those in Faubourg Saint-Honoré, a high-end boutique district in Paris. He was awarded the Special Prize for Arts, Sciences, and Culture.

In Japan, he has also gained popularity by holding exhibitions at famous department stores such as Mitsukoshi and Daimaru.
