He paints landscapes of his native Normandy, the Atlantic coast of Brittany, Paris, and Venice. His use of gentle colors may not create a strong initial impact, but his works gradually seep into one's heart, evoking a sense of wonder at everyday scenes bathed in soft light.

He began painting in his childhood. His paintings are an expression of "eternal happiness." In his world, everything is enveloped in a gentle, subtle light.
