He paints beautiful rural landscapes of southern Germany and the Tuscany region of Italy, as well as nostalgic streetscapes of Paris. He wonderfully harmonizes the elegance of French Impressionism with the powerful touch and color of German Expressionism. He is also popular in Austria, North America, and the United States.

Born in Cologne, an ancient Roman city in Germany, in 1969. After graduating from Rheinbach Design School and Rhein-Sieg Academy of Fine Arts, he dedicated himself to painting while also teaching at his alma mater. In Japan, he has gained popularity through solo and group exhibitions at famous department stores such as Mitsukoshi and Daimaru.
