He paints beautiful rural landscapes in Southern Germany and the Tuscany region of Italy, and nostalgic streetscapes of Paris. He exquisitely harmonizes the elegance of French Impressionism with the powerful brushstrokes and colors of German Expressionism. He is also highly popular in Austria, North America, and the United States.

Born in 1969 in Cologne, an ancient Roman city in Germany. After graduating from Rheinbach Design School and Rhein-Sieg Art Academy, he dedicated himself to painting while also teaching at his alma mater. He has gained popularity in Japan through solo and group exhibitions at famous department stores such as Mitsukoshi and Daimaru.
