This work features a large pumpkin in the center, rendered in a strong two-color contrast of vibrant yellow and black. The surface of the pumpkin is meticulously adorned with black polka dots of varying sizes along vertical lines, with the largest dots in the center gradually decreasing in size towards the edges, creating a three-dimensional, rounded effect. The entire background is filled with a fine yellow net pattern (reminiscent of an infinity net), covering the black ground and imparting a strong visual dynamism to the entire composition. This painting is a characteristic work that strongly evokes Yayoi Kusama's signature artistic style, featuring her iconic pumpkin motif, the repetition of regular polka dots, the net-like background, and the distinctive yellow and black color scheme.
