Nicole Clement <Autumn Festival> Pastel 40x40cm

Born in 1943 near Paris. A pastel artist, he travels between his ancestral home, Château de Chapelle-Bertrand in the Perche region, and his studio in Paris, depicting rural landscapes in both the Parisian suburbs and the Perche region. He uses changes in color to represent form, rather than outlines, filling his canvases with bright light. He is the vice-president of the annual Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture à l'Eau at the Grand Palais in Paris, and the president of the Salon de Colombes near Paris.

In 1984, he won the Pastel Gold Medal at the Salon de la Ville de Paris and many other awards.
