Nicole Clement <June Hill> Pastel 35 x 35 cm

Born in 1943 near Paris. A pastel artist, she travels between Château de Chapel Bertrand, inherited from her ancestors in the Perche region, and her studio in Paris, depicting the rural landscapes of the Parisian suburbs and the Perche region. She uses variations in color to define shapes, rather than outlines, and fills her canvases with bright light. She is the vice president of the Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture à l'Eau, held annually at the Grand Palais in Paris, and the president of the Salon de Colombes near Paris.

In 1984, she received the Pastel Gold Medal at the Paris City Exhibition, among many other awards.
