Satoko Aoki

Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1986. She studied textile art at Hiroshima City University Graduate School and is currently an artist and designer based in Chiba.
Her theme is "visualizing the invisible," such as emotions, memories, and sounds, and she depicts a unique world that moves between the concrete and the abstract.
Rooted in the "tsutsugaki" dyeing technique, she has recently been exploring a new painting expression using acrylic paints and canvas, aiming to "express dyeing without dyeing."
