This was my fourth visit to the Peynet Museum. This time, my business trip to France was a short stay of 5 nights + 1 night on the plane. I stayed in Paris for 3 nights and Nice for 2 nights, and visited the Peynet Museum, where I met Annie Peynet, Peynet's daughter, and the director of the Peynet Museum, Goujon. The Peynet Museum in Antibes has become more and more fulfilling.
In China, dolls that Peynet made over half a century ago and sold all over the world have recently been manufactured by a Chinese manufacturer and sold in China, but both Annie Peynet and Director Goujon lamented that the quality is not so good. The dolls made in France half a century ago have been scattered, and only a few are in the Peynet Museum, and the Principality of Monaco has a collection of all the types. The Peynet Museum has negotiated many times with the Principality of Monaco to give them the dolls, but the Principality has not responded. There is no other way, so the Chinese-made dolls are also displayed in the museum.

It seems that China's 1.2 billion people have started to pay attention to Peynet, and the number of Chinese visitors to the Peynet Museum has recently increased sharply. It seems that we only have three original lithographs of Annie Peynet in our possession. In other words, original lithographs have become valuable. Please be aware that there are prints on the Internet that were printed after Peynet's death and have Peynet's signature printed on them, not his own.
The piece we own and sell is a brand new original piece produced around 1985 by Mr. Muret, a close friend of Raymond Peynet who met him at a lithograph publisher, and signed by Raymond Peynet himself.

In the square in front of the museum, a statue of Peynet's lovers stands, and a Peynet kiosk is also built. It seems that Annie Peynet has had some success with her work. The ratio of Japanese visitors to this museum is quite high. Recently, a large-scale Peynet exhibition was held in Korea.
